Discover the world of research: Schoolchildren's Day at the Rptu Kaiserslautern on September 13, 2024

Discover the world of science in the Interior of the School on the Rptu

On September 13, 2024, the RPTU opens its doors to students in grades 10 to 13 in Kaiserslautern. At the Interior, the participants have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of research and get a feeling for everyday university life. From electromagnetic magic to homemade magnetism, the pupils expect exciting workshops and lectures on technical and scientific topics.

Registration for this special day is now possible. By the end of August, students have the opportunity to register for an individual daily program with three different workshops and lectures. Participation in this eventful day is free.

During the school inner party, the girls will explore the campus in small groups, inform about study opportunities and experiment themselves. Experienced students accompany them and provide insights into their everyday university life as well as useful tips for studying.

The participants can choose from a total of 40 different programs that focus on different focal points. In the area of "man, nature and the environment", for example, the world of microorganisms is researched, the importance of iron for the human body is explained and shown how plants absorb light. Under the topic of "digital technologies", the students get an insight into the world of robots, 3D printing and artificial intelligence. In the "Planning, Building and Design" area, the participants have the opportunity to build a bridge, reinterpret monopoly or create their own diode men.
