Grave jewelry stolen: Thieves loot cemetery in Kaiserslautern

Theft in the main cemetery shakes the community

A current incident in the main cemetery on Donnersbergstrasse has put the residents of Kaiserslautern into turmoil. Previously unknown perpetrators violently entered the site in the night of Thursday to Friday and looted about 200 graves.

The thieves obviously had to mention bronze figures and grave decorations, which they violently removed with a separator. The damage caused by property is considerable and the families concerned are deeply dismayed by this disrespectful act.

The Kaiserslautern police were only informed about the theft on Friday morning and immediately started the investigation. Anyone who can provide information about this incident is asked to contact the Kaiserslautern 1 or the criminal service service.
