New course on the RPTU: Malte Drescher takes over the helm!

On Monday evening, a ceremonial handover of office took place in the fully occupied Audimax of the Rhineland-Palatinate University of Technology (RPTU). Malte Drescher takes over the Presidium of Arnd Poetzsch-Heffter and Gabriele Schaumann and is given the opportunity to get to know the challenges and possibilities of university business first-hand.

The handover was accompanied by emotional pictures and moving moments that welcomed the new “captain” to the top of the university on his journey. Drescher emphasized that his mission was to control the university through the upcoming challenges and ensure that it remains a place of knowledge and innovation. Malte Drescher's new term marks a significant fresh start for the RPTU, which has to assert itself in a constantly changing educational environment.
