Intoxication raid: 24-year-old arrested in Dannstadt!

police forces checked a 24-year-old driver at the Dannstadt-West (BAB61) rest area on Tuesday afternoon and secured a shocking amount of drugs. During the check, the officials found impressive 1,700 grams of marijuana and 150 grams of cocaine. The young man was arrested immediately. In his apartment in the district of Kaiserslautern, the investigators came across a further 3,000 grams of a suspected extent that tested slightly for cocaine, as well as 75 grams of MDMA and 500 grams of marijuana. In addition, the officers discovered several dangerous objects, including two pocket knives, a case meter, a shock pistol, a telescopic punch and a machete, including hundreds of euros in cash.

The 24-year-old was brought before a judge on October 9, 2024 who, at the request of the public prosecutor's office in Frankenthal, issued custody due to the urgent suspicion of unauthorized drug trafficking. The man is suspected of having acted with a considerable amount of narcotics and dangerous objects, including a violation of the Consumer Cannabis Act. He was then taken to a correctional facility.
