Dance evening of the future: New choreographies inspire in the fruit hall

New dance evening "Blueprints 2.0" reflects human relationships - Palatinate Theater Kaiserslautern

Four young choreographers present their works in the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern

An extraordinary dance evening entitled "Blueprints 2.0" was premiered on Friday evening in the fruit hall in the Palatinate Theater Kaiserslautern. This evening marks the beginning of a new artistic series that will continue in the coming season.

The idea for this dance evening already came up towards the end of last season when dance director Luisa Sancho Escanero gave the members of the dance ensemble the opportunity to develop and present their own choreographies. After the success of "Blueprints" from the previous season, four choreographers now present their works under the title "Blueprints 2.0".

The choreography "Silent Mary", creating Evan Macrae Williams from Canada, leads the audience into a "ritual of memory and meat". The five dancers Maxime Boël, Maayan Goren, Camilla Orlandi, Nikki van Rijswijk and Shelley Stolpner dance to music by Handel and Schubert.

"I Practiced Learning You" by Tade Abrma and Camilla Marcati invites the audience to take care of his vulnerability and reminds you to open up to the loved ones.

yan Jun Chin presents "The Waiting Room", a piece that symbolizes a room and a time in which people linger in a kind of "standstill" and ask themselves who they want to be.

The choreographer Rune Leysen, on the other hand, addresses the love between siblings in her work "Storge", which is known as a familiar love between family members in Greek

"Blueprints 2.0" will be shown until July 11th at 7.30 p.m. in the fruit hall of the Pfalztheater Kaiserslautern. Tickets are available on the website www.pfalztheater.de.
