Rheinbrückenstraße, 76187 Karlsruhe, Deutschland - A dramatic traffic accident shook Karlsruhe-Knielingen on Monday afternoon when a 72-year-old driver collided with a tram. The Ford driver apparently disregarded a red traffic light while he turned left at the intersection to Saarlandstrasse and thus accepted serious injuries. The fire brigade had to free him from the destroyed car with a hydraulic rescue device before being taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the inmates of the tram remained unharmed.
