Traffic nodes gravel triangle soon free - renovation successfully completed!

Ettlingen, Deutschland - At the "Kiesdreieck" junction in Ettlingen, where the L 607, L 566, Rudolf-Plank-Straße and Mörscher Straße meet, extensive renovation work began on July 29, 2024. These measures, which are expected to be completed on November 4, 2024, contain the comprehensive renewal of the road surface. In particular, the upper 46 centimeters of the lane ceiling on the L 607, L 566 and Rudolf-Plank-Straße and the upper 10 centimeters were renovated on Mörscher Straße. In addition, the bike path on the confluence with Mörscher Straße / L 607 receives an update.

According to information from the regional council, this project represents an investment of around 2.5 million euros, which is borne by both the state of Baden-Württemberg and by the city of Ettlingen. The renovation has not only eliminated the existing damage, but also improved traffic safety at this important hub. Already at the weekend, after completing the last construction phase on October 19, the traffic safety is dismantled, which means that the entire flow of traffic is guaranteed again from Monday, November 4, 2024. Further details can be found on the project page, while current information on the traffic situation in Baden-Württemberg is provided via the Verkehrsinfo BW.
