Delays at B 10: Mühlacker has to live with construction site longer!

In the heart of Mühlacker, the B 10's road surface has been fundamentally renewed since July 1, 2024! This measure takes place on behalf of the Karlsruhe regional council and also includes the laying of a new district heating line and empty pipes by the Mühlacker municipal utilities. But now there is bad news: Due to delays in the construction of the district heating line, the traffic release is delayed by almost a week. Instead of the originally planned appointment, the street is expected to be released until November 5, 2024.

What happened? The last construction phase, which is connected to the installation of the empty pipes and the asphalt ceiling, was stopped by problems with a subcontractor that was not on schedule. The construction work has sometimes stalled, which means that the further steps now have to be newly coordinated. Despite the fast reactions of the construction company team, the original construction end remains an unfulfilled hope. The Karlsruhe regional council asks the road users for understanding for the unforeseen delays and the associated inconvenience.
