On January 18, 2025, a very special swimming event will take place in the Auebad Kassel: the Swim 100 × 100. This is a passionate unit that attracts swimmers from all categories in order to cover 10 kilometers in the water together. The event not only offers the opportunity to improve your own swimming style, but also to measure yourself against like -minded people. Each participant has the choice of choosing one of the demanding swimming styles as a lone fighter or registering as part of a team in a relay mode. Special change times apply to the seasons in order not to interrupt the flow of movement.

The event begins in the afternoon, with the admission from 4:30 p.m. The accreditation of the participants is organized here, followed by a briefing at 5:30 p.m., so that everyone is ready for the start at 6:00 p.m. The swimmers are divided into two groups that begin their 100 meters of rounds at different times. The participants of the first group have 2:15 minutes between the starts, while the second group adjusts to 2:00 minutes.

An important element of the event are the intended breaks: According to a certain section, there is the option of recovering briefly, catering or seeing the toilet. This ensures a balanced burden, especially with the challenge of completing the 100 x 100 meters. Regardless of whether you are a “leisure swimmer”, a “club swimmer”, a “triathlete” or an “open-water swimmer”, everyone is welcome!

These special time plans and breaks are not only important for physical regeneration, but also contribute significantly to the general atmosphere and the sense of community during the event.

Registration for the event has already been opened and lasts until January 12, 2025 or until the participant limit is reached. The fee for individual participants is 65 euros, while the costs for relay participants vary slightly, with 90 euros for teams of two and 140 euros for teams of four. In addition to entering the swimming pool, the entry fee also includes meals and a souvenir for the Finisher.

An atmosphere of enthusiasm awaits you in the Auebad, and even special catering options are offered, including ISO-containing drinks, gels, warm brewing and snacks-vegan options are also available. The event not only offers a sporting challenge, but also an open and friendly environment for exchange among the participants.

If you have to cancel up to five days before the event due to health reasons, this is possible with presentation of a certificate. A processing fee is also due for a re -registration to another person. Participation in this event is a duty for all water lovers and sporty ambitious!
