Flieden fights bravely, but loses against unbeaten CSC Kassel

Last Saturday, the CSC 03 Kassel was able to continue its unbeaten series in the North Association League. In an exciting duel, the guests prevailed 4-2 against SV Flieden. The game offered a roller coaster ride of emotions for both teams, which was shaped by gripping moments and unfortunate twists.

The SV Flieden, despite the defeat, showed committed football and could have rewarded themselves for their efforts. Already in the 8th minute the home side took hope when Andre Vogt spent a good chance of leading the lead. The Flieden player turned the Kassel goalkeeper Lukas Rudolph, but did not manage to accommodate the ball on the net. This should turn out to be the turning point of the encounter, because only a few minutes later, in the 18th minute, the guests took the lead through a goal by Toni Lecke.

Courage and tragic twists

After the first half, the Fliedeners came back with the vigor, which they also showed in the ASV encounter against Neuhof. But the supposed turn failed. A goal scored by Vogt, which could have been compensated, was withdrawn in the 58th minute due to an offside decision. The Fliedeners were unimpressed and continued to rely on offensive moves.

In the 63rd minute, Leck was able to achieve another goal for Kassel, which put the healing team under pressure. However, the Fliedeners did not give up. Homan Halimi scored the long -teasing goal in the 67th minute, and hope germinated for a short time. But the joy only lasted briefly, because Kassel reacted immediately after the goal and increased binding bags to 3: 1 (69.).

Vogt was able to shorten the gap to 2: 3 with a magnificent free kick in the 82nd minute, but the joy was again fleeting. In the 88th minute, Okan Gül restored the old distance of 4: 2. The leaders' victory was thus secured.

Despite this defeat, the Fliedeners can hope for positive developments. The team showed a lot of fighting spirit in their previous season and can look back on the last week in which an impressive district cup victory against Eichenzell could be celebrated. During the week they even competed without the suspended coach Mike Gaul, which also motivated the team.

Statistics of the encounter

The statistics show that the CSC 03 Kassel could take its chances while SV Flieden was punished abruptly if they were obviously dominated. Despite the best occasions, such as the almost impressive Rabona future shot from Mogge and Hilgenberg's own crossbar, the Kassel victory did not fall from the sky. It was the momentum and the individual class that made the difference.

The two teams competed against each other with the following lineups:
