Brave jogger stops thief: Recovers the bag of 89-year-old!
A courageous jogger put a thief in Kassel who had previously stolen her handbag for an 89-year-old woman. The incident occurred on Friday around 11:50 a.m. in Bad Wilhelmshöhe. The 14-year-old perpetrator had approached the senior citizen and, while looking at her watch, torn her bag from the storage compartment of her rollator. There was a three -digit cash amount in the pocket that the woman had previously withdrawn from an ATM.
Fortunately, the incident was noticed by a 32-year-old jogger who immediately recorded the persecution of the fleeing adolescent. The thief tried to hide in a bush, but was discovered and brought back to the crime scene. The police were able to hand over the handbag to the senior citizen with the entire cash. The 14-year-old was taken to the office by the officials and handed over to his legal guardians. He is now being investigated for theft.
