Kassel - bicycle theft and burglaries into basement rooms are unfortunately widespread problems that affect many people. In order to learn effective protective measures before these crimes, the police headquarters in North Hesse are organizing a free online webinar. This will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 6 p.m. and is aimed at everyone interested.

The specialist advisors for crime prevention will give helpful tips in the webinar to secure bicycles in the best possible way. The participants learn how the choice of the right security agents decisively contributes to avoiding thefts. The possibility of protecting bicycles through special coding is also discussed. This coding makes thieves much more difficult to resell the bike unnoticed, since a coded wheel can be clearly assigned.

The increase in burglaries into basement rooms is particularly alarming, in which bicycles are often stolen. The experts in the webinar would like to counter this trend by giving targeted advice on how basement can be made safer. A safe basement is not only important for the bicycles, but also for other valuable items. The prevention experts will show how simple changes in security technology can have a great effect.

These technologies offer an additional security level and can make potential thieves difficult by enabling them to be tracked.
