Royal jubilee event: Danish royal couple inspires Schleswig-Holstein
Schleswig, Deutschland - The joy was huge when the Danish royal couple, Frederik X. and Mary, arrived in Schleswig-Holstein! The children of the Eckernförde kindergarten "Hurray" call loudly and swivel their red and white paper flags, while the royal couple approach the 200 waiting ends in the bright sunshine. After a warm welcome by Prime Minister Daniel Günther and an entry in the guest book, Frederik and Mary enjoy a lunch with invited guests, among whom is also Minister of Economics Claus Ruhe Madsen. The royal couple opens an energy conference in the Geomar Helmholtz Center for Ocean Research on their trip. Projects for CO2 storage and green hydrogen are presented, which should further promote cross-border cooperation between Denmark and Germany. Over 100 participants from 20 Danish and German companies come together to discuss innovative ideas.
