50 years of the Kitzingen forestry community: where wood becomes money!
Iphofen, Deutschland - The forest operating community (FBG) Kitzingen recently celebrated its 50th anniversary in Iphofen. Managing Director Dieter Rammensee emphasized the importance of the FBG, which has supported municipalities and private individuals with forest services and wood marketing since 1974. The most impressive moment in the history of the FBG was the sale of a tribe in 2012, which at 11,333 euros per festival meter became the most expensive worldwide.
During the ceremony, Rainer Fell, who volunteered for 35 years, was adopted. District Administrator Tamara Bischof recognized the role of the FBG as a modern service provider in the area of forestry and emphasized their contribution to professionalization. Minister of Agriculture Michaela Kaniber emphasized the support of the Free State for Forest owners in a video message and appealed to society to support them with wood heating.
