Solemn farewell after 16 years: Dean Günther Klöss-Schuster says Lebewohlwohl
A difficult farewell for Dean Günther Klöss-Schuster
The community of Castell with Greuth and Wüstenfelden said goodbye to Dean Günther Klöss-Schuster last Sunday, who left the community after 16 years as a dean and pastor. The farewell was characterized by tears and moving moments when Klöss cobbler handed over his offense to regional bishop Gisela Bornowski.
The day of farewell began with rain, and the daily solution "Whoever sits under the umbrella of the highest" could not be more suitable. The municipality accompanied Klöss-Schuster with umbrellas on the way from the parish hall to the church of St. Johannes, while the sky cried. But at the end of the festival service, the sky opened and the sun seemed to be a symbolic farewell to a beloved parish priest.
Günther Klöss-Schuster will leave the municipality in the direction of the parish office of St. Paul. His work and sermons will be missing in Castell and the surrounding area, but the community is grateful for the 16 years that he has devoted to them. The farewell was emotional and clearly showed how much Dean Klöss-Schuster is anchored in the hearts of his parishioners.
