Kitzingen starts free collection: new container for food oils!

Kitzingen, Deutschland - Kitzingen relies on environmentally friendly recycling! The city is giving away 1,000 new reusable containers for the collection of used food oils and fats -and free of charge! All households can pick up one of the practical, 1.2 liter, leak -proof containers. As soon as the free contingent is exhausted, the green containers are available for a deposit of only 2.50 euros at the recycling center in the Connekt-Park. These containers are ideal for everyone who regularly dispose of oil from deep fryer, pan or grill.

The collected food oils and fats do not end up in the drain, but are properly picked up and recycled by the company "Each drops counts GmbH". This creates climate -friendly biofuels, electricity and even cleaning agents! This makes Kitzingen an important contribution to environmental protection - and all of this with a practical system that revolutionizes waste disposal.
