New forces in the Sulzfeld local council: Elke Weigand takes over!

In the Sulzfeld municipal council there are fresh faces: After the death of Benno Wahner, Elke Weigand was sworn in by the Sulzfeld municipal list (SKL). Mayor Matthias Dusel welcomed the 59-year-old at the council meeting, in which the occupation is now complete again. Weigand has valuable experience because she worked in the local council from 2008 to 2020.

In addition, the local council discussed a new energy concept - experts from the Technical University of Amberg presented ideas for the integration of renewable energies. A workshop is already planned for the beginning of next year to work together with the citizens on the implementation. In a further step, it was decided that solar and photovoltaic systems are not subsidized through the municipal funding program. In addition, a rental agreement with the youth is sought for the youth room in the old kindergarten in order to create clear conditions.
