Warning strikes in Würzburg: IG Metall demands 7% more wages!
Kitzingen, Deutschland - The IG Metall Würzburg called for warning strikes in the metal and electrical industry this week. The reason for the protests is the offer of employers rated as "completely inadequate" in the second round of the ongoing tariff dispute. The union calls for a wage increase of seven percent and an increase in training allowances by 170 euros.
The Schaeffler logistics center will be strike in Kitzingen on Thursday. The early shift will be affected at 1 p.m. and the late shift at 9 p.m., while rallies take place in front of the workshop. IG Metall thus sets a clear sign for the legitimate claims of the employees in the industry. Further details on the strikes are at www.infranken.de to read.Details | |
