The Lower Rhine hugs cycling

On the first Sunday in July, the Lower Rhine is again captured by the enthusiasm for cycling! At the 1st Rader Experience Day Niederrhein - formerly Lower Rhine cycling day - not only attract beautiful routes, but also a fantastic program of the Economics & Tourism City of Kleve!

The starting point and information point will be in front of the tourist information in the Klever Rathaus on Minoritenplatz 2, where music and delicacies are offered all day. After the starting shot at 10 a.m., which is given by the Mayor of the City of Kleve, Wolfgang Geb, the Arnhem Stemband provides musical entertainment. Delicious coffee specialties are offered by Caffe Piccolo with its elegant Caffe Bar and the Eisbüdchen Dellnitz serves homemade ice cream made of high -quality ingredients. There are also delicious sausages and veggie grill on the wooden carbon grille from Quartier. If smaller repairs on the bike are required, the Hagebaumarkt Swertz is ready at its own with its service partner. The popular XXL games are available for children. From the information point at Minoritenplatz 2, the cyclists have the choice between four attractive circular routes: Route 2 leads from Kleve via Kranenburg and Goch and is 60 kilometers long. A shorter bike tour (Route 6) with 40 kilometers leads over Bedburg-Hau and Emmerich. On Route 8 (54 kilometers), the cyclists drive to Millingen Aan de Rijn and further over Emmerich, and Route 11 leads back to Kleve.

The WTM employees will be happy to provide information about the innovations of the Rader experience day at the information point between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., which has a stronger digital focus this year. The participants are now registered using a QR code with the smartphone, and GPX tracks are made available for the routes. The central raffle was replaced by an online competition in which an e-bike attracts as the main prize.
