DHL opens up new, solar -powered packing station in Goch - 24/7 packages!

Pfalzdorfer Straße 77a, 47574 Goch, Deutschland - DHL has opened a new packing station at Pfalzdorfer Straße 77a in Goch, which is available around the clock for package reception and shipping. Equipped with 66 compartments, customers can pick up their packages here and send pre-credited programs without a screen being necessary-the operation is carried out via the free Post & DHL app. This environmentally friendly, solar-powered Packstation is part of DHL's "Gogreen" program that supports the climate-neutral package shipping.

The use of the Packstation not only has the advantage that it is accessible at any time, but also contributes to reducing CO2 emissions-compared to the traditional front door delivery, the deliverers save on average 30 percent CO2 on a packing station program. Holger Bartels, head of multi -channel sales at DHL, emphasizes that the positive feedback from customers reflects the trend towards using packing stations. The company also plans to further expand the network of packing stations in order to meet the growing requirements of the online trade.
