New Limes Cicerones: Discover the Roman legacy in NRW!

The Roman border facilities on the Northern German Limes, which extend over 220 kilometers through North Rhine-Westphalia, were listed on July 27, 2021 UNESCO World Heritage Site. These impressive remains, which are hidden from Danneux to Klärun, offer valuable insights into Roman history. In order to promote knowledge of these important historical sites, a number of guides will be trained from autumn entitled "Limes-Cicerones", which are supposed to bring the treasures of this ancient border between both locals and tourists.

The training of the Limes-Cicerones
