New chairman elected: Women Union in the district of Kleve gets a breath of fresh air

New leadership for women Union in the district of Kleve

At the most recent general meeting of the Women Union in the Kleve district, there was a significant change in the management structure. Nicola Roth from Weeze was elected as the new chairman after she was previously active as deputy district chair. With an overwhelming result of 89.2% of the votes, she now takes over the office of district chairman.

The choice fell on the founding day of the CDU, June 26, which Roth sees as a double reason to be happy. She emphasized the broad support that the entire board team received from the Women Union in the Kleve district, and sees it a strong drive for future projects.

As a long -time district chairwoman, Walburga Kamps did not start again and was thanked by the members of the meeting for their committed work. However, Kamps remains active in the FU district, state and federal board.

The meeting took place on a warm summer day and was able to count on the participation of 87 voting members, including the district chairman of the women Union Niederrhein, Sonja Fuck-Kurzawa, and the CDU district chairman Dr. Günther Bergmann.

The new board team is made up of various members, including the deputies Katja Kempkes, Maria Verweyen and Gabriele van Koeverden, secretary Heidi Dahl and the press spokeswoman Sophie de Ryk. The board is supplemented by twelve assessors and the member representative Christiane Verweyen.
