Bloody discussion at baptism in Boppard: seriously injured!

In the night of October 27, around 2:30 a.m. in the shooting hall on Bopparder Straße in Mühltal, there was a violent discussion during a baptism. According to the police, around 15 guests came into a violent argument, which extended to Remigius-Platz in Boppard. A 22-year-old man from the Mayen-Koblenz district was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital in Koblenz with considerable head injuries. Two other men suffered knife injuries and are also in medical treatment.

The police describe the situation as extremely confusing and asks possible witnesses to contact the phone number 06742 8090 or by email to piboppard@polizei.rlp.de in order to contribute to clarifying the incident. Details on the backgrounds and the further course of the investigation are currently still unclear, while the investigators are actively working on the enlightenment of the violent event.
