of Police Directorate Neuwied, Rhein (ots)
In the charming city of Linz am Rhein, a winemaker festival took place last Saturday, which not only provided culinary delights, but also an unpleasant intermediate episode. At around 2:30 a.m. the security service of the festival received an alarm because a strongly alcoholic visitor seemed to disturb the event. The incident shows how the rapid interaction of security forces and police is important on solemn occasions to ensure the well -being of the guests.
A 33-year-old man apparently molested several guests and vehemently refused to leave the event location. Such behavior is not only ruthless, but can also significantly affect the festival atmosphere. When the police arrived to help, the man remained unreasonable and refused to cooperate with the officials.
The role of the police and the security forces
The security service operating on site made a significant contribution to defusing the situation. The dismissal that the police officers pronounced is an important part of the police measures to solve conflicts at events. In this special case it was borrowed that the man was in a state in which he was hardly able to make his own decisions.
An alco test carried out showed an impressive value of 2 per thousand, which confirmed the need to intervene in the police. This high alcoholization can not only lead to dangerous behavior, but also brings health risks for the person concerned. The emergency services was forced to take the man in custody in order to protect him and the other festival visitors.
After his detention, the 33-year-old was able to sleep in his frenzy at the Linz police inspection. This shows how important it is to tackle such situations quickly and responsibly before escalating and possibly leading to serious incidents.
The wine festival in Linz, known for its exuberant mood and the special wine culture of the region, should be remembered as a celebration that, despite this incident, continued to be peaceful and gratifying. The reactions at the event and the rapid reaction of the security forces could serve as a good example of future events in the region.
