Koblenz celebrates apple festival: variety & regional products on Nov 9!
On November 9 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the popular apple festival of the "Schäl Seit" takes place in the multi -purpose hall of the Immendorf primary school. This event marks the end of the scattering season and offers a varied program for all apple friends. A special highlight is the variety determination of apples brought with you, supported by pomologist Richard Dahlem. He helps visitors whether they have an old tree in the garden or are simply curious about which variety they have.
In addition to the variety determination, there is the premiere of the new "Schäl Seiten" juice, various orchards such as apple chips and liqueurs, as well as regional delicacies such as potatoes and honey. A nesting box construction with the NABU is offered for children, and the bonsai show provides additional pleasure. Mayor David Langner will officially open the event at 2 p.m. The festival is organized by the Environmental Office of the City of Koblenz in cooperation with the association "Beautiful Immendorf" and other supporters.
