District of Neuwied: Strong GDP makes us the economic power in RLP!

The district of Neuwied, known for its economic strength, has again reached fourth place in a current location ranking for autumn 2024. According to the analysis of the Informationport Deutsche Wirtschaft GmbH (DDW), based in Neuss, the circle is behind Mainz-Bingen, the Westerwaldkreis and Mayen-Koblenz, which underlines its importance as a business location. The gross domestic product (GDP) of the district was around 6.9 billion euros in 2022 - an impressive plus of 8.7 percent compared to the previous year.

A total of 4.063 places were analyzed in the Ranking, which emphasizes the strategic location and the economic opportunities of the Neuwied district. With cities such as Neuwied, Linz and Bad Hönningen as well as the local communities of Neustadt and Raubach, the region is classified as an attractive location for entrepreneurs and companies, which further promotes growth potential.
