On Monday, July 1st, 2024, an incident occurred in the parking lot of the high school in Freiherr-vom-Stein-Straße in Betzdorf, which required police operation. A black Peugeot 208 was damaged between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. when the driver found damage to the right rear wheel arch. The person who caused the accident committed the driver's flight without worrying about the damage.
The Betzdorf police are initiating investigations and urgently asks for evidence of witnesses on Tel. 02741/9260. An evaluation of the surveillance cameras at the high school can possibly contribute to the identification of the polluter.
