In the night from Friday to Saturday there was a spectacular vandalist act in Mülheim-Kärlich: several street signs were overturned and damaged, while a large plant including the ceramic pot was kidnapped and thrown onto Andernacher Strasse. An attentive witness filmed the crime and informed the police.

Three youthful men could later be found by the officials, but contested any participation in the willful damage. A overturned traffic sign was a danger when a vehicle drove over it. The police are now asking the drivers of the vehicle that drove over the sign, and the owner of the destroyed flower pot, to contact the police station in Andernach.
