Fair drama on A3: chauffeur strikes, chaos on the road!

On Wednesday morning, October 23, there was a dangerous incident on the A3 near Linkenbach: an unknown driver of a platform car lost three large blue barrels from his loading area while he was traveling in Cologne. Shortly before the Neuwied junction, the 50-liter barrels rolled across the road and represented a considerable danger for the other road users.

The driver jumped out of his vehicle to remove one of the barrels, but a driver subsequently noticed too late one of the other barrels and collided with it. After the incident, the platform driver fled the scene of the accident. The police are now asking witnesses who know something about the loss of the cargo or about the fleeting vehicle to contact the Montabaur police motorway station.
