Big cannabis raid: police find drugs in Kerpen!

In a large-scale campaign, the Rhein-Erft district police arrested two suspects in Kerpen, Bedburg and Cologne on Tuesday morning (October 29) and confiscated several kilograms of cannabis. At the same time, the officials searched several objects and found numerous utensils that are necessary to operate an illegal cannabis plantation. The two 35-year-old suspects must now be responsible for suspected violations of the Consumer Cannabis Act.

The investigation has been running since March 2024, after information about a cannabis plantation has been received in an empty property in Kerpen.
