Fire alarm in Constance: dramatic outdoor fire on family home!

on October 7, 2024, at 5:07 p.m., the fire brigade in Constance was called for a fire at a family home on Radolfzeller Strasse. The main guard of the Petershausen department and the Wollmatingen department quickly moved out to stop the dangerous fire that began to blazing on the outer facade and threatened to overlap on the roof. After a first location exploration, it was decided to request an additional fire truck and other support forces.

The firefighters carried out both an external and an internal attack, which prevented the flames from spreading to the entire building. After intensive use, the fire was under control after an hour and a half. Large areas of the wooden facade and the insulation below had to be opened and extinguished for complete security. Ultimately, the emergency services were able to hand over the position to the residents and the police again around 11:30 p.m. Fortunately, no people were harmed in this incident.
