In a new development, the business people on the east wall also spoke up and asked for support.

A spokesman for the local retailer sent a letter to Mayor Frank Meyer. In this he described the alarming conditions from which the business owners suffer. Members of the drug scene are found on the park benches in the East Wall area every day and consume drugs openly. This visible presence does not give passers -by and customers a feeling of security. "We call the municipal security service up to seven times a day, but often we only receive evasive answers. There is a lack of staff, and the KOD focuses on keeping the scene at the main train station in chess," said the spokesman, who wants to remain anonymous to protect his business.
