Ice hockey professionals conquer golf course: spectacular event in Willich!

ice hockey professionals of the Krefeld penguins showed themselves this week from their sporting side - not on the ice, but on the golf course! At an exclusive 9-hole event in the Golfpark Renneshof in Willich, the players, including top striker Matt Marcinew and the strong playing Christian Kretschmann with a handicap, took the racket in hand. The coaching duo Thomas Popiesch and Herbert Hohenberger was also there, with Hohenberger humorously commenting on his golf break of three years in Krefeld and had to use borrowed equipment.

The event that sponsors and sponsors brought together was a complete success for everyone involved. Popiesch, who already knew the facility, praised the event enthusiastically: "A great event, it was a lot of fun." A special highlight was waiting at the third hole, where the participants had to put ice hockey bitches - a successful mix of both sports!
