Progress at Krefeld Central Station: Stop regular again from November!

From Monday, November 4th, the stop will be available again for all SWK streams, which means that the previous detour of line 044 via Philadelphiastraße is eliminated. However, the passengers still have to be patient, because the access does not remain at ground level for the time being, since the new platform has not yet been completed. In addition, work is still running on the streets and sidewalks, and splash protection walls and traffic light systems must also be installed.

Since September 29, the entire area in front of the main train station has been a large construction site. In addition to the creation of accessibility, the tracks and switches are also renewed at the central hub. The big goal: a complete completion by mid -December, if the new stop in front of the Cinemaxx will be barrier -free and the construction site essentially disappears.
