Attention grandparents: technical knowledge for the next generation!

The Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences starts an innovative series of events entitled "Technical knowledge for grandparents and other inquisitive people"! The aim is to revitalize the technical interest among the population and enable grandparents to help children with questions about technical phenomena. The first event will take place on Friday, November 22nd, at 7 p.m. in the foyer of the A building. On Saturday, November 23, at 10 a.m.

dr. Armin Knors, who heads the Initiative, explained that many grandparents often play a key role in knowledge transfer. In order to clearly convey technical relationships, everyday questions about phenomena such as rocket science and kitchen physics are treated. The university relies on personal exchange in order to pass on the enthusiasm for engineering. If you are interested, you should register until November 15th at event@hsnr.de in order to become part of this exciting format. Further information is here to be found.
