The TV Korschenbroich was clearly defeated by HSG Krefeld Niederrhein with 28:39 in a third division game on Saturday evening. Despite a bold start and the willingness to take risks, among other things through the use of a seventh field player, the team of coach Frank Berblinger was unable to get the strong favorites. Krefeld set up a lead early on and led 19:11 at halftime. Even after the change of sides, the Korschenbroicher did not find the right access, although they were temporarily shortened to 12:19. Ultimately, Krefeld remained confident and secured 12: 0 points with his sixth win of the season, while Korschenbroich is now penultimate with 2:10 points.
In the further course of the game, it was shown that the Korschenbroich had difficulty using their own chances efficiently. Coach Berblinger nevertheless saw positive approaches in the game: "The boys tried everything and showed many positive approaches."
