In the DEL 2 home game on the 12th matchday, the Krefeld penguins had to accept a bitter 2: 5 defeat against the Starbulls Rosenheim. The exclusive star of the game was Norman Hauner, who hit the net three times for the guests. Krefeld's Davis Vandane scored both goals for his team, but that was not enough to break the dominance of the Rosenheimers.

From the first minute at the Starbulls, the Starbulls put the action and put the penguins under pressure with intensive pressing. Vandane initially brought Krefeld in the lead, but only a short time later Rosenheim equalized by Stefan Reiter. In the second third, Hauner was the decisive factor that pulled the tooth with two other goals.
