Drug robbery in Aldi! Police snaps thief gang in Ebsdorfergrund

On Tuesday evening, four men were arrested in Ebsdorfergrund after stolen cigarettes worth around 3,000 euros from an Aldi market. The group was initially active in the Aldi in Fronhausen, where they stole a variety of cigarette packs over a back entrance and stowed them into their VW unnoticed. Shortly afterwards, around 5:30 p.m., they were observed at the next Aldi market in Hachborn, which resulted in a larger police operation.

A witness indication led to the arrest of two people aged 34 and 35. Another suspect was able to flee, but the police used a helicopter to support. A short time later, around 8:15 p.m., the two remaining suspects were also arrested aged 27 and 59. Now against all four men is being investigated for band theft, they are currently in police custody while the investigation continues.
