A dramatic missing person in Kulmbach took a happy end on Thursday evening: After only two and a half hours of search, the 13-year-old girl, who suffers from an autistic illness, was found safely. Around 130 emergency services, including the police, emergency services, fire brigade and mountain rescue service, had been mobilized to search for the child after the notification received their disappearance in the evening.

The extensive search immediately started as references to possible places of residence, especially in the nearby forests. While police teams and search dogs were on site, a police helicopter floated above the field of application, and drones were used for location.
