A dear festival in Herdwangen-Schönach: A complete success for everyone!
In Herdwangen-Schönach, the popular "a love" festival recently took place, which again attracted numerous music lovers. The organizers, who are now presenting themselves under the name "Cartel of Love", can look back on a successful event. In bright weather, visitors flocked to the campsite at the Hüttenbühl on the first day, which was evident from a full atmosphere at the early hours.
On Thursday, the festival started with a prop party, in which around 550 visitors had the opportunity to explore the site in advance and to get in the mood for festival mode. In total, the organizers sold around 1000 tickets, including day tickets, which were offered for the first time this year. In addition, there were about 200 spontaneous guests every day when selling the evening cash register.
A weather happiness for the organizers
Organizer Johannes Knott was enthusiastic about the weather conditions: "So far we have such an incredible luck with the weather," he said on Saturday afternoon. In contrast to earlier years, in which straw was constantly needed to lay out, the festival goers were spared larger rainfall. Only on Saturday evening a few drops fell, but this did not reduce the general determination.
Musically, the festival offered a varied program this year. In the DJ tent, the focus was on electrical and techno sounds, while the live stage also offered the chance to experience some promising newcomers. "We want to give visitors the opportunity to discover new and unknown artists," said Knott. In the past, bands such as province, which are now on large stages such as the Southside Festival, had their first appearance at the "A Love" Festival.
Strong line-up and relaxed mood
This year's line-up was promising: artists such as Kiki, MC Bomber, GbR and the well-known beer babes performed on the live stage. The highlight of the DJ tent was the Berlin headliner Elli Acula, who inspired the audience together with other DJ colleagues such as Upper90 and Alarico. Ultimately, this selection contributed to the happy and relaxed atmosphere of the festival.
For the cartel of love, which consists of around 100 members, the success of the festival was not only measurable in numbers. "The greatest thing for us is when the mood is calm and this serenity is transferred to everyone," said Knott at the end. It is clear that the festival is not only regarded as a musical event, but also as a space in which community and joy are in the foreground.
In the long term, the "a dear" festival remains an example of how a committed community musician and participant can bring together. In a world that is often shaped by stress and hustle and bustle, this event manages to offer a space for relaxation and positive vibes.
The "A Love" Festival in Herdwangen-Schönach is not only a musical event, but also reflects the regional cultural and social currents. Festivals of this kind are becoming increasingly important because they offer space for creative development and strengthen the community. The trend towards such, often community-based events is increasing in Germany, which indicates a growing interest in alternatives, smaller festivals. This type of festival often not only promotes the music scene, but also local providers of food and drinks, which can lead to an economic revival of the region.
The development of festivals in Germany
In recent years, many festivals have established themselves in Germany that offer a mix of music, art and community feeling. Especially with regard to the past few years in which many events have been canceled due to the Covid 19 pandemic, there is now a stronger need for social interactions. Examples of successful events are the Fusion Festival in Lärz or the Melt! Festival in Ferropolis that pursue similar community and music approaches. In contrast, the “a love” festival stands out through its intimate atmosphere and the close bond with visitors and artists.
Another important aspect is social and political development that influences festivals such as "a love" festival. The increasing awareness of topics such as sustainability and social justice also has an impact on the festival scene. Today, organizers are trying to introduce environmentally friendly practices and support local artists and companies. This is not only shown in the selection of the performances, but also in the way the festival is organized.
The "A Love" Festival actively contributes to promoting these tendencies, for example by consciously focusing on local bands and thus strengthening the potential of newcomers. In this way, not only an entertaining experience is offered, but also a contribution to the long -term development of the music scene and local culture.
