Sensational autumn festival: play, fun and sustainability at the Storchenhof!
Next Saturday, September 14, 2024, the annual autumn festival will take place on the square in front of the Storchenhof Center at Hauptstraße 9/9d in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen. Under the patronage of district mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU), the festival is all about play and fun, entertainment and information, as well as the topics of sustainability and Thanksgiving.
Martin Schaefer, district mayor of Hohenschönhausen, expressed his way around the forthrame. He emphasized the importance of the community of residents around the old village center of Alt-Hohenschönhausen to experience the diversity and culture of the district and to strengthen the community.
Visitors can look forward to a diverse program. The various socio-cultural meeting points and leisure facilities from the area will present entertainment and sustainability ideas for all ages at market stalls. There will be opportunities for screen printing, painting bags, upcycling, as well as a quiz and bingo with sustainable prices. Musically, Isabel Neuenfeldt will create a mood with her accordion and invite you to sing along.
In addition to other program items, the association of the Vietnamese in Berlin and Brandenburg e.V. will present a dance performance and the band Magmaphonic will provide a good mood with Surfrock. The festival is rounded off by a Thanksgiving service of the Evangelical Taborme.
The autumn festival at the Storchenhof is organized by the Kieznetzwerk in Alt-Hohenschönhausen in cooperation with the district coordination "Der Guten Pol", the district office Lichtenberg, Neue Berlin and Howoge.
