In the early morning of October 19, residents in Gries (Pfalz) alerted the police over two suspicious cyclists. A search was immediately initiated and a person was spotted on an orange e-bike from the Giant brand. Nearby, the emergency services discovered a gray e-bike of the Cube brand. The police assume that both bicycles were stolen, which is why a police helicopter was used to search for the second suspect. The latest searches at the Ohmbach reservoir also brought to light the discovery of various stolen objects, including clothing and a backpack, some of which are connected to a vehicle theft in Gries.
