Fuses in Gries: Police are looking for fleeting e-bike thief!

In the early Saturday morning, October 19, two suspicious cyclists in Gries (Pfalz) caused excitement. Residents alerted the Kusel police, who immediately initiated a search. One of the viewed people, on an orange giant e-bike, could be localized on a dirt road between Gries and Schönenberg-Kübelberg. Nearby, the officials came across a gray cube e-bike left behind, which hardened the suspicion that both bikes were stolen.

To find the second fleeting suspect, a police helicopter was used, which also searched the Ohmbach reservoir. During the search campaigns, the police discovered various stolen objects, including clothing and a backpack that are connected to Gries with a vehicle theft. One person has already been arrested while the hunt for the second suspect continues.
