New chief of police in Marburg ensures communication and closeness to the population
Marburg-Biedenkopf (ots)-The police station in Marburg has a new director: First police chief Oliver Brauer took over from his predecessor Heinz Frank in April. He was officially introduced on July 5, 2024 as part of a ceremony, in which police vice president Marco Bärtl assured him of success and support. Department director Manfred Kaletsch and police director Frank Göbel also wished Brauer all the best for his new task.
Brauer emphasizes how important it is to present a visible police that occurs communicatively and takes the concerns of the citizens seriously. He relies on an open, honest and respectful handling of both his colleagues and the citizens. Brauer is well equipped as an experienced policeman with a variety of deployment times and abroad in Kosovo and Afghanistan to address the challenges in the age of digitization.
The focus of Brauer is not only to be administrative, but to keep an eye on the interests of his office and colleagues. His goal is to establish a strong connection to the population and always keep serenity and happiness.
Brauer, who has three adult children and lives with his partner in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district, began his career in 1985 at the Hessian police. After various stations and superiors functions, he was appointed head of office in Marburg in April.
The Marburg police station is looking forward to a good cooperation with its new boss, who has the security and well -being of citizens in view with his many years of experience and commitment.
