Demmin brings historical district office to new life!

The city of Demmin has taken a significant step: from December 2024, 33 employees of the city administration move into the former district office in Adolf-Pompe-Straße. District Administrator Kärger described this move as a "stroke of luck" for the city and the district. The listed building, which was empty after the 2011 district regional reform, is now being revived and receives a new function.

The former district office was previously the location of the regulatory office of the Mecklenburg Lake District district, which in 2023 moved to the newly built town hall cultivation in Neubrandenburg.
