Feuerinferno in Strehlen: Office complex is on fire!

In a dramatic incident, an empty office complex burned in the morning in the Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße in Strehlen. Flames hit the windows of the top floor, while dense smoke pulled through the approximately 75 -meter -long building. Reinforcement forces were immediately requested, and several squads fought against the fire under respiratory protection, supported by a turntable ladder.

Thanks to the extinguishing support vehicle LUF60, the complex could be quickly extracted. A drone relay checked the roof to prevent fire spread, and luckily no further abnormalities were found. The operational measures are now almost completed and the police have started the cause of the fire. There were no injuries, but Caspar-David-Friedrich-Straße was closed during the mission between Teplitzer Straße and Räcknitzhöhe.
