Garbsen in the crisis: empty business and a new sofaer!

Garbsen, Deutschland - In Garbsen, numerous shops are fighting for survival, while more and more shopping areas are empty. In the shopping plaza, five areas with a total of 500 square meters are currently advertised after the leather gallery had to close after 27 years in August. The booming online trade forces many retailers to the task. According to the center manager Christoph Höptner, there are discussions with possible prospective tenants, but details on the industries of interested parties remain under closure.

Another area on Alten Ricklinger Straße has also been vacant for months. Ulrich Schneider closed his business for floor coverings there, and owner Dirk Windhorn reported to interested parties from gastronomy and warehouse management, but without progress. In the summer, multi -pads also gave up at the Bauboulevard after ten years and is now concentrating on another location in Isernhagen.

While the city is struggling for a solution, there are bright spots. A successor to the area of multipolster has already been determined: the West German company TRÖSSER will soon sell upholstered furniture on the B6, but details about the opening are not yet known.
