Locking of Augustenstrasse in Leer: Clinic only accessible one -sided!

The Augustenstrasse in Leer will soon become a needle! From Monday, October 28, 2024, the street will be closed to the amount of house number 32 by October 30th due to important sewer construction work. This means that the clinic is temporarily only accessible from one direction.

The good news: residents can drive to the construction site, and the main access to the clinic remains accessible- but only from the south, i.e. from Friesenstrasse or Annenstrasse. Pedestrians and cyclists can continue to use the construction site area on one side. The city has already set up a detour route immediately, which is signposted for drivers and regular buses. This leads via Friesenstraße and Heisfelder Straße (Bundesstraße 70) and back to the city center. A real traffic chaos threatens when the construction work begins!
