Over 700,000 travelers: This is how the families start their vacation in Bogotá!

In the first week of October, the city of Bogotá informs that over 700,000 travelers will be in the country during the school holidays. This is intended to offer families the opportunity to travel and enjoy the cultural offers of the capital. Traffic will be distributed over 44,000 vehicles that are used by 90 transport companies, with popular destinations such as Sogamoso, Girardot, Cali and Medellín.

Special attention is paid to the security precautions: over 350 employees, including medical staff and national police, are ready to ensure the safety of travelers in the three main terminals from Bogotá. On Friday, October 11th, the highest traffic is expected, with a total of 46,800 passengers at the Terminal Salitre. A significant increase to travelers is also expected from the Terminal Norte and Terminal Sur, especially on Saturday, October 12th.
