Andre Silva: With determination back into the spotlight of Leipzig

Leipzig/MSC - Andre Silva causes a sensation in the football world, especially through his unexpected stay at RB Leipzig. Most recently, his stand seemed precarious in the team after he did not train under coach Marco Rose and blossomed the team's offensive with new talents such as Lois Openda and Benjamin Sesko. Nevertheless, the 28-year-old striker is optimistic and in an interview with the Bild newspaper explained that he is ready to score goals again.

Silva emphasizes that he wants to appear as a protagonist and is waiting for an opportunity for Rose. "When I get the chance, I am ready - even for 90 minutes. I am sure that I will also score goals," he says confidently. However, its current market value has dropped dramatically: from once 45 million euros it fell to only six million euros. Despite this devaluation, Silva can look back on a respectable balance sheet: 26 goals and 18 templates in 96 games are available, often lingering on the pitch.

Silva's setbacks and new opportunities

The way to his desired comeback was not easy. At Real Sociedad San Sebastián, Silva was not completely fit and could not prevail. Some experts typed on another loan, especially since RB did not offer him any rosy prospects. "The truth is: there was a lot of interest in me," says Silva. "But I decided to stay in Leipzig." This decision testifies to his fighting spirit because he does not want to retire to a lower league.

The training environment is also crucial for Silva. He strives to work with the best players. "The focus is on the sporting aspect, but behind it the city and other things, like the environment, also play a role." In his career so far, the Portuguese, who previously played at FC Porto, has already experienced five clubs, which will have the importance of a stable environment appreciated.

Silva is aware of the strong competition and is determined to prove itself. "Now I'm here and fight," he explains, emphasizing that he can offer the team more than just missions from the bank. "Especially in possession of the ball, with the last pass, at the end, technically, tactical, tactical, with your back to the gate and mainly naturally with goals" it is his goal to get back into conversation.

The coming game season could be a turn in Silva's career. It remains to be seen whether he actually has the opportunity to show his qualities on the field. But his will to assert himself and find it back to the track of success is obvious.
